We have found an Intelligent Gentleman that is also a Very Knowledgeable Real Estate Agent and Broker who knows the area and most of the people. If you need anything, Don is very well informed and knows who to call. He also tells really good stories and has a great sense of humor, all of which are important to us, coming from South Texas... y'all. After viewing lots of properties (some online) we circled back to one Don has shown us on our very first visit and was a little out of the price range we had decided on. It was no longer listed for sale, but it was 'the one' that stuck in our mind and we used as comparison to others. So, we talked with Don and he contacted the owner and with his guidance, we were able to put together the deal of our Lifetime. We were not looking for a home when we drove by some lake front property with a man hammering a "For Sale" sign in the drive way. We wrote down the contact information and called Sierra Ozark Corporation. Thus began our adventure with Don and his wonderful wife Connie.   

I explained to Don that we lived elsewhere and vacationed at our favorite lake, Bull Shoals. We would love to see what he described as a "park like setting that will bring a tear to your eye," but we were not really in the market since we weren’t retired yet. Don showed us the property and we couldn’t resist. It was all and more than what he had told us. This was just the beginning of what he did for us. Don was with us and walked us through each step. Inspections, testing well water, title search, and personally organized locating the septic system.  

Don didn’t stop helping us after the sale. He provided us with lists of people and phone numbers of those who could help us with anything from banking to propane companies (and some fun restaurants). He called to see how we were. Five months after the sale I am still calling him for advice. This is a man who truly cares about people. We have shared stories of our families. I tried complimenting him on how trusting, personable, up front and helpful he was. His response was "I try to always be guided by the Golden Rule".
